Details: Stonehenge yew naturally grows with a narrow, columnar habit, which makes it an eminently versatile landscape shrub. Whether you plant one or a dozen, its small footprint leaves you plenty of room for other purposes. Handsome deep green foliage provides a nice texture, and it's one of the most shades tolerant of all evergreens.
Growing Tips: Thanks to its narrow, fastigiated growth habit, regular pruning is not needed. Branches may be selectively removed if desired.
Note that yew is not deer resistant and can sustain substantial damage in areas where deer pressure is high.
