FAQs

I purchased a product from Green Promise Farms through Amazon, and I have questions regarding my order.

Thanks again for your order! If your purchase was made through Amazon, most order-related questions (including shipping updates, returns, and refunds) are typically handled through Amazon’s customer service.

In some cases, customers have mentioned being directed to us with follow-up questions. While we’re always happy to help where we can, Amazon’s team generally manages all aspects of those orders, so we recommend starting there for the quickest resolution. Their customer service can be reached at 1-866-216-1072.

Order Status:

How can I check the status of my order? Shipping confirmations, updates, and delivery notifications are sent automatically via the email provided during checkout.

What forms of payment are accepted? We accept all major credit cards and debit cards. We accept PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay, and Facebook Pay.

When will my order ship? Orders will ship within 1-2 business days.

How do you ship my order?  We have a specially designed box to ensure that plants stay in place during transit, and soil stays in the pot where it belongs.  Our plants are pulled directly from our nursery prior to shipping and watered thoroughly before being packaged.  They are placed carefully in the box and secured to prevent damage to the plant.

Cancellations/Returns: Once you have completed the checkout process we begin to process your order almost immediately and in most cases your plant will ship within 24 business hours.  Since your order is processed and shipped quickly, cancellations must be requested within 3 hours by contacting us at Info@GreenPromiseFarms.com. Once your order is packaged and shipped, it cannot be adjusted or cancelled. There is no cancellation fee. Returns: To assure the integrity of our growing operation and to reduce the possible exposure to introduced disease and insects threats, we cannot accept returns after a plant has been shipped from our nursery.

State Restrictions:

AZ, CA, HI, ID, MT, NV, OR, PR, UT, WA
We are unable to ship our plants to any of these states listed above May 31st - September 31st (December 20th-January 5th as well) due to the regulations enforced by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Animal and Plant Inspection Services.

Plant Care Instructions:

What is the proper way to plant it? First, begin by considering the importance of location for your plant's sun, shade and soil needs. Then, start by digging a hole roughly two and a half times wider than the plant’s container. The crown of the plant, or the part where the base of the stems meets the soil, needs to line up precisely with ground level. Once you’ve properly lined up the crown and lightly separated the roots, place the plant in the ground and fill with loose soil.

How much water does my plant need? To water optimally, start by running a hose to the base of your newly installed plant. Open the spigot so that a slow trickle of water comes out the end of the hose. The resulting stream should soak slowly into the soil. Thirty minutes to one hour of this type of watering once or twice per week, depending on the size of the plant and climatic conditions, should provide the amount of water you need to keep your plant healthy.

My plant's leaves are turning yellow, what does that mean? This can occur from too much rain, too much watering, or perhaps poor drainage. This can also happen occasionally from the time in the shipping box during transportation.

My plant's leaves are curling and turning brown, what does that mean? Yellow leaves are often a sign of not enough water. Be sure to check your soil drainage or planting location, avoid planting on too steep of a slope.

My plant was wilted on arrival, what should I do? Although your plant was watered prior to shipment, it isn't uncommon for your plant to look wilted or dry after its travel time. Once your plant is in it's new home, all it needs is some water and light to return to it's normal state.

Pesticides: We carefully monitor our plants and use eco-friendly alternatives that are not harmful to our environment. One such alternative we use for pest management is biological control, using natural enemies to target pest species in order to prevent damage to our plants. We are happy to confirm that we do not use neonicotinoids on any American Beauties Native Plants®.
