Details: PHLOX X `VIOLET PINWHEELS` - This brilliant new creeping Phlox is a hybrid that behaves like a Phlox subulata, but with a much more intense flower color that you'd expect. Violet purple flowers are aglow from mid to late spring, and the notched, upturned petals look like tiny pinwheels, especially with movement from the wind. 'Violet Pinwheels' grows more closely to the ground, and spreads more slowly than other varieties.
Growing Tips: Plant in full sun in average, well drained soil. Fertilize during flowering season with organic fertilizer.
